MacView Solvent
MacView Solvent
The MACView® Solvent is a measurement system for measurement of harmful gasses or vapours. The MACView® Solvent can display, register the measured concentrations and alarm external, if needed. The principle is based on a solid-state sensor which can measure various volatile organic compounds. The advantage of this solid-state sensor compared to other measurement principles is the longer lifetime. For the MACView® Solvent is a whole array of different sensors available for various components. The MACView® Solvent registers i.a. the following components:
Acetone - Terpentine - Ethanol - Ammonia - Thinner - Methane - Benzene - Toluene - Xylene - Stoddard Solvent

Display
The MACView® Solvent displays the measured values in ppm (parts per million) on the display. By this, these values are direct compareable with the MAC-value. This is the Maximal Allowed Concentration. When this MAC-value is exceeded it is possible to act immediately, for example by removing the cause. At the lower line, the status of the relais is shown.

Alarming
The MACView® Solvent contains 2 relais. These relais can signal extern in an alarm situation. The relais can be set up in a menu seperately. An example application is the triggering of an alarm light or an accoustical signal. One relais can be used for alarming while the other relais is used for triggering a fan. Thus the fan works only if needed, which saves energy.

Registration
In addition to the displaying for control and alarming, it is possible to manage the data of the measurements in a database. This is done by use of using the optional software, the MACregister® software. It is possible to show the total course of measurements. From the gathered data, too high concentrations can be mapped out. With the MACregister® software it is possible to set how many measurements should be made within a given time. With this software it is also possible to alter the settings of the MACView® Solvent direct from the PC and to read the measurements real-time. The measurement values can be printed in a report, finally.
